About me

Hello everybody,

I'm Philipp from Berlin. Martial arts and the associated fitness and strength training is my sporting background. Because of my personal fascination for exercise, I have been working as a personal trainer with athletes of various sports, people of everyday life and people with physical limitations and/or pain since 2012.

I have certifications in athletic training, functional training, kettlebell training, martial arts, rehabilitation, pain treatment and nutrition, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Health Management.

I worked for a well-known sports physiotherapy and have qualifications in analysis methods/screening methods for discussing and treating pain, as well as recognizing imbalances and the associated potential injury factors.

Your physical health is my job!

It's important to me that you get to know your body, understand it and have success on short and long term.

I'm available for 1-1 personal training and small groups of 2 to 4 persons. The sessions will be in German or English. Looking forward to meet you!

Training information

I offer the following types of training:

Functional/Strength Training (available for groups)

  • We start with soft tissue work and self massage techniques for overactive muscles.
  • After we will go through some joint mobility exercises (later on we'll create a daily mobility routine for you).
  • We will activate your core muscles in the beginning of every session as a warm up and preparation for the following strength exercises.
  • We will go through a full body workout including bodyweight exercises, barbell and dumbbell exercises (if available), kettlebell exercises and other kinds of exercises which are helpful for your main training targets.
  • We will evaluate every session at the end and talk about following sessions (by your own or together).
Kettlebell Training (only 1 person)
  • We start with soft tissue work and self massage techniques for overactive muscles.
  • Then we will go through some joint mobility exercises (later on we ́ll create a daily mobility routine for you).
  • We will activate your core muscles in the beginning of every session as a warm up and preparation for the following kettlebell exercises.
  • We will start by learning the grinds of kettlebell training (deadlift/ squat/ press/ row variations, carries and Turkish get up).
  • After mastering the grinds we ́ll start to learn the ballistics (swing/ clean/ snatch/ push press etc.).
  • Where we will start depends on your experience in kettlebell training.
  • We will mix all your kettlebell skills together to a powerful workout.
  • At the end we ́ll evaluate your session and talk about following sessions (by your own or together).

HIIT Training (available for groups)

  • We start with soft tissue work and self massage techiques for overactive muscles.
  • Then we will go through some joint mobility exercises (later on we ́ll create a daily mobility routine for you).
  • We will go through a circuit full body workout/ block training (upper-/ lower- body) including core exercises, strength exercises (with or without weights) and cardio exercises.
  • This training takes usually about 30- 45 minutes.
  • We will evaluate every session at the end and talk about following sessions (by your own or together).

Movement Screening (only 1 person)

  • We will talk about your past (current physical problems, sporting background, injuries, surgeries etc.).
  • Afterwards I will lead you through a row of exercises to screen your current movement behavior.
  • We will evaluate the screening together and I will explain the important results.
  • Afterwards I will teach you some corrective exercises (stability and/ or mobility exercises) to improve the results.

Above are the standard programmes, but feel free to let me know if you have any specific wishes or areas you want to focus on (for example mobility training, back training, rehabilitation, specific athletic training), then I will do my best to accommodate it.
